Yes, they were Leeds based. Reception Records was The Wedding Present’s own label they set up to release their early vinyl. They moved around a few labels like RCA, Island & Cooking Vinyl then set up Scopitones themselves.

Cherry Red is a label I had a fair few releases on. No one has said Creation yet have they? Also Postcard out of Glasgow -orange juice, josef k - and Fast Records - melons, gang of four, human league - out of Edinburgh Edited by nickgusset (02 Nov 2017 9.25pm)
