The hardest part about going vegetarian was having to learn a whole new repertoire of dishes to cook. The common wisdom is that you need to gather a fleet of about 25 recipes that you can knock up without too much aggravation, and after that you're golden. I'm up to about 15.

Yeah, religious prohibitions are very different. Hindus and cows, Jews and pork, Catholics and fish on Fridays (not a prohibition, but a dictate nonetheless). I choose not to eat meat and fish and the benefits I have enjoyed since making that choice simply reaffirm my decision.

Falafel and Halloumi are about my limit. I even prefer melon wrapped in prosciutto.

Back on topic, I think the last two races could be fantastic now the title races are settled with 6 competitive cars up front and even the Force India guys will be able to race each other now they've confirmed their 4th place in the constructor's. And I bet they somehow hit each other in one of the two!

You can keep saying it, but that does not make it true. There is a broad consensus in the medical world that eating meat causes any number of diseases that eating plants does not. Bacon has as strong a causal link to cancer as smoking (just not the same rates of infection).

Eating meat opens you up to any number of chronic and deadly diseases that are not associated with eating plants. You carry on eating meat if you like, it's not my place to stop you, but don't think there's absolutely nothing wrong with it because you don't keel over and die after eating a cheeseburger.

Scaremongering horses*** at best. Im sure the drink and drugs will kill me before the bacon sarnies haha.

MAybe if they could race the cars on vegetable oil instead of petrol, everyone would be happy.

The fuel efficiency they now achieve, due to the regulations of the hybrid era, has already made an enormous difference to road cars.

F1 has assisted development of many components now used on road cars.
spoilers (that actually do a job, not there just for looks)
4 wheel drive (now banned from F1)
Electronic ignition
turbo chargers (now banned from F1)
active ride suspension
tyre technology
composite construction

As for Lewis Hamilton, his PR rating improved vastly once he ditched his dad from being his Manager.
If only John Bostock had done the same. Family are never best qualified to advise.
