Not so much the NFL, but the college football on BT sport is some spectacle, and seems quicker. Roll Tide

Best news about last night's game is that now we don't have to listen to pundits blathering on about the Patriots' perfect season.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

If you think about it, there are 50 states but only 32 NFL teams, and some states have more than one. So there are vast swaths of the country without a local professional team but all have a college team of some description. The college season is shorter so every home game is like a cup final. Fans gather on Fridays in their RVs and don't leave until Sunday. The game happens at some point on Saturday although it's all likely to be a bit blurry at that point. If you go for the whole event, it's pretty much as drunk as you've ever been in your life. On top of that, college rivalries are insane. Some are so big that they play then on neutral territory; for example the "Red River Shooutout" between Texas and Oklahoma is held at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Any mention of NFL should be banned from these boards, along with cycling (unless criticisms) and formula 1 (and any other forumulas - 2 etc for that matter).
