What bugs me is that when you buy crisps, or any item in the supermarket and it says new and improved. You think to yourself they made the favour worse or you preferred the recipe before the improvement.

For me it's cherry coke, absolutely loved when I was at school, now they changed the label and recipe. It's not the same.

Anyone have any other food or drink products like this.

Andy Johnson Magic, He wears a Magic Hat
When he Sees the match ball, he says he having that
He scores one with left foot, he scores one with his right
And When his playing Brighton, He scores all f***ING Night!

I think beer generally is much better these days. In the 70's unless you found a Young's or Fuller's pub, getting a half decent real ale was impossible round our way.

Ditto English wines - there are some real crackers these days - it's a shame they are taxed so heavily.

Sadly my favourite past drink - light and bitter - has evolved out of existence. The tradition was two-thirds to three-quarters of bitter in a pint glass presented with a half pint of light ale allowing taste variety as drinking took place.

Light and bitter. I concur. Fond memories while all around me were drinking lager tops.

The worst offender was British Leyland.
The 1100/1300 were excellent cars at the time, but BL spent millions designing, machining up the factory and advertising...

...the Allegro!

My first car; an Austin 1100 in 'Arabian Grey' KKO 230E £100. Loved it, but always wished I could have afforded a 1300, or an MG, Wolesley or Riley version. Unfortunately I couldn't stretch to the extra 20 to 40 quid!
