GB team is A.Murray, D.Evans, K.Edmund & J.Murray.

I never thought I'd see GB win the Davis Cup, now they're looking like they might even defend it!

Without being a pessimist nor did I.

I know they always say to play 'one match at a time' but France do have a top side (both singles & doubles) if we meet them in the final but certainly not impossible.

Del Potro has been no slouch of late either.

The French are a good side, I expect them to get past Croatia.

So both the underdogs won.

I see they're making changes to future finals now:

Cities will bid to stage the finals of the Davis and Fed Cups as part of a revamp of the team tennis competitions.

"This is part of our mission to make the appeal of tennis broad and wide," said ITF president David Haggerty.

Not to make the most money from the highest bidders then?

Yes I agree with both underdogs won, for me the biggest surprise out of all the matches was the number one French doubles pair of Herbert & Mahut losing.

"By having a full year or two to plan we can do more for sponsors and fans with a stadium that's an appropriate size.' said Haggerty.

I agree, from this statement making money is certainly behind this idea of cities, from sponsors and even though he says more for fans with an appropriate size stadium this obviously brings in more money from tickets sold.

Unfortunately I don't have Sky Sports & I presume the final will be fully shown on that rather than BBC who only show GB matches.

It'll just end up in the Emirates or China, meaning fans of both teams having to fly half way around the world. The home and away system ensures good crowds, atmosphere and keeps the costs to a minimum.

I don't even think it's about ticket sales, it's getting a chunk of money in the form of a hosting fee. Something they currently don't get at all as the home and away system means the side hosting the tie simply picks the venue.

Eurosport currently have the rights to it..

Thanks, I'll look out for the final on Eurosport.

Interesting you mentioned about a hosting fee, didn't know about that.

What country of these would you prefer, the non-seeded countries are Spain, Italy, Russia, Germany, Canada, USA, Australia & Japan.

Davis Cup Draw for next year.

Russia was probably the easiest draw. We got Canada, which I'm not too worried about. Raonic is good, but Murray is better.
