I have no problem with women's sport. Some of it is quite gripping - a close 1500 metre race is worth watching whether the protagonists are male or female, the fact that the time taken is longer than the male equivalent is really neither here nor there. some sports are very different in the women's game and each to their own whether they enjoy that or not (women's cricket will not see so many power shots or aggressive bowling because they simply don't have the armoury, but can also be a good watch). I watched a women's MMA bout the other day, and I must admit I found that uncomfortable to watch, but I guess that's my problem. End of the day, they'll only show what people will watch (hence the lack of televised finals of the world tiddlywinks championship) and they'll have to try a few things before they know for sure if there's a long term appetite for it.
