How low can this Cowbow outfit go?

Dialling 999 themselves to boost performance ratings?

Not in the least bit surprised and I did chuckle to myself when I read it this morning.

This is just the start. Believe me here is the future of British policing. The witch (May) won't be satisfied until the majority of the Police is privatised.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Privatised police are probably going to happen. Starts by privatizing bits and pieces of the back office functions, before you know it it'll be in the hands of some crooks like G4S, who won't bother responding to 999 calls unless you live in a nice area or it's easy to sort out. "Murder? Ooh, sorry, that would cost millions to properly investigate. Tell you what, just draw a chalk outline, we have to go arrest a few kids nicking from shops instead."

Back 100 years to the bad old days of tipping a bobby a few quid to get them to do something, or to 'forget' to file the report about your latest misdemeanor.

Horrifying. And this current government have another 4 years to get the job done...

Can anyone verify whether May's husband is a shareholder?

He's not listed as a 'major' shareholder despite the unsubstantiated claims on such sites as David Icke's.

I can see why people would like to find a motive behind such incompetent providers being given contracts but this does not appear to be it.

Odd as it might seem most murders are fairly easily solved, because usually they're personal (money/love/dispute). Its getting someone to actually take interest in the minor crimes that never get solved except by accident (why yes, of course I can not use my car for five days, so you can dust it for prints, and then not clean up afterwards).

Possibly a Trustee or Director of a Holding Company 3 times removed and offshore......that's the usual way!

I don't think its just her, I think there is a worrying trend throughout all of the government services to turn the social contract into a private contract. It started with the parole and prison services, key support services (forensics etc) and it will continue slowly until its just the bits that they can't make money out of.

The standards will continue to drop. The only safe job in policing in the future, will be Close Protection - They'll make sure they are safe.

It betrays the very nature of state to have private companies delivering key state functions to which the state must be accountable to the people.

The service received by the citizenry is of no consequence to this government if they can find a way to channel taxpayers money into corporate bottom lines.

And there's nothing we can do about it for 4 more years at the very least.

I read this differently

It was individuals that worked for G4S that wanted to hit KPIs for which I assume they are paid

It won't have been a tactic that senior management would have approved

So it wasn't G4S stooping low, it was G4S being totally incompetent in its management.

Yet again we'll be selling the cow to buy some milk.
But 'Brexit' is far more important, given the response to that particular thread?

We deserve everything we get.

Time to move forward together.

I wouldn't put it past their senior management to have devised and implemented the plan they seem pretty devious.
