1 bed flat. Baby due in Aug so will look to move into a 2 house after Christmas I think. Edited by miles18 (04 Mar 2016 8.14pm) you can get by with a small space with one kid. for some reason, #2 brings an exponential amount of space needed (that is, if they're relatively close together). if you're planning long-term and going to have more than one, default to more space.

We used to have to get up at six o'clock in the morning, clean the bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down mill for fourteen hours a day week in-week out. When we got home, our Dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt! We were so poor we had to pretend Dad had a belt, and that we knew who he was.

I had to wash my face every morning in molton lava and my mum would clean the back of my neck with a chainsaw. Mine was a privileged upbringing.

Fortunately, houses out here in canada are all built with basements - giving more room for your buck.
