Very sad about this one. I used to absolutely love sitting there with a few beers and watching Eurovision unravel with Terry getting increasingly pissed and sarcastic. He was brilliant on the radio as well and needless to say raised millions for charity. He did very well.

I liked him, as I got older. When I was a kid and teen I didn't get it, but there was something about Terry Wogan, that as you mature, it clicks and you realise just how funny the guy could be, without having to seem to try. To 'dull and lite entertainment' what Humphrey Lyttelton was to radio comedy.

Well done The Sash for pointing that out, that seems to have passed most people by. I remember it though being reported a few years ago with the CIN accounts report.
