was given one from work and it hasn't got a mirror image facility on it kindle to tv ...has anyone got one and know is there an app or anything I can do at short notice ...cheers

Have you got a chrome cast?
If so, download an app called 1mobile Market and from there you can download the Chrome cast app which allows you to cast direct to your TV.
For some reason, Amazon have locked their products to certain apps (mostly google based apps) so that you have to use Amazon store apps.
The 1mobile market app basically lets you download any app via the back door of your kindle.
