MacColl was a genius Not sure she was actually a genius, but she had a great voice and was a brilliant singer, but most of her notable hits weren't her creation (New England, Days, Fairy Tale of New York - all were written by very well renown song writers). Although I'd say that Desperate Character is a very good album.
