Stuck in the Canaries (bad luck eh?) want to catch up on MOTD and other TV but iplayer doesn't work abroad. Anyone know any catch up TV sites I could use overseas or at worse links to MOTD?
Cheers

Use chrome browser with the zenmate extension added. You can the change your it to a range of different countries and fool your isp into thinking you are in the UK, thus enabling you to use iplayer.

PM sent
Which basically says: (for the benefit of all)

OK on an ipad it's a little trickier as it's erm, an ipad.

Easiest thing to do is pay for a smart dns, I use smarty dns it's $40 a year and it makes your device no matter where you are look like it's in the UK (or US or Canada), so BBC iplayer ITV channel 5 4 plus and Now TV will all work , as will Netfix etc.

What you can also do is install Kodi on your ipad, easier if it's jailbroken , not impossible if it's not, you will have to google how to do that.
Once that is done you can add the good video add ins, I suggest Genesis, Phoenix, Vdubt25 and Turk's UK channels. (installed from superrepo) Google that too!

If you have an Android pad, just install Mobdro, you will have all the Sky sports, BT sports etc and American sports channels for free, so well worth buying a cheaparse one for sheer convenience.

I downloaded Kodi for free for my desk top, and use Live sports tv app for my tablet (its great for getting a live BBC1 link for MOTD).

With Kodi, you sometimes get good link sometimes not so good, but hey its free so...
