Vocals - Karen Carpenter or Janis Joplin
Lead Guitar - Jimi Hendrix
Rhythm Guitar - Robert Johnson
Bass - Cliff Burton
Drums - A drum machine because drummers are always c**ts.

Synths and digital sounds - Leon Theramin and Tadao Kikumoto (who technically is only dead in that no one knows who he is, but he invented the 303 Synth)

Producer - Martin Hamment (although I'd consider murdering Steve Albini if that's an option).

Although f**k only knows what my band would sound like.

Karen Carpenter or Janis Joplin jamie?

Karen's voice and drumming is too girly girly.

Leave the drums to the machine and go for Janis' raunchy vocals!

I'm thinking I'll have a couple of vocalists, so I can switch for style. Janis for the belters, Karen for the sweeter songs.

If I have to have a drummer I'll go with John Bonham until Moe Tucker dies.

How about Doktor Avalanche? Technically a drummer that isn't alive

Which was actually your point now I've read back...
