The problem is that rather than addressing the problem, Russia will claim it is just The West ganging up on them. Feel a bit sorry for Seb Coe, and I never thought I would say that!

There is no way that doping is restricted to cycling and athletics.

There might be an element of truth to that. Take the 100m for instance, logically I bet most top sprinters find a way to cheat. It stands to reason.

a known dope pusher goes to jamaica to be their coach. suddenly, in short order, they have 3 of the fastest men in the world. usain bolt is lauded a rarely gifted runner. ok.

no one inquires at all. i think the jamaican women are in on it now and starting to dominate. no questions asked by the doping authorities. a joke.

I expect that to change with Seb Coe, but.............. Jamaica? She injected herself.

Most of the world has been waiting for this one to break.

..I've said this before and I will say it again, let them use drugs if they want to and the ones that do have to wear clothing saying so, then the results of the competitions are sorted accordingly, this way the drugs can be tested and analysed and then they can have a table for that particular drug...resulting eventually with drugs that are safe for everyone to use if they so wish, to help with improved productivity, do not understand all this fuss, it is such a waste of time trying to stop it, also drug companies can sponsor athletes etc etc.

.......has our coach driver done a Poo'yet, without thinking about Gus!

Slippery rusky gits. There's been an awful lot of nonsense going on with the Russians in the last 12 months or so, quite concerning.

In reality the trouble is that the West won the Cold war and then moved on, the ruskies didn't. Now they think it's really only the start of the second half!

It seems to be so rife in the sport that I 'almost' felt sorry for Lance. It was a weird situation where he likely was the best cyclist but could only prove it by cheating because almost everyone else was too.

Watched a very eye opening documentry on Lance Armstrong and the drugs involved in Cycling. I was left feeling like he'd been hung out to dry, he didnt get caught, he admitted it when he was disgnosed with testicular cancer, as his Dr. needed to know what other meds he was on before commencing Chemo.

And, as it transpires literally all of them where on something or other, I think my reaction to the news, and the publics in general was wrong, and I'm now left with the definate feeling he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't.

As for WADA I have heard that Russia (amongst others) are massive contributers to the funding of the Organisation, therefore is it any wonder ?
