Plane's in the right region...now the height of trade for roofers is slowing with the on set of Winter you may get a deal. £5-6k is about average

Your old tiles may be worth something to a salvage yard too. We were quoted £7k for our roof four years ago though it is a bit bigger than the average one I think. Tap into Google and you'll find good rough figures from real tradesmen. And when bored with xhamster look at roofers websites. Edited by Kermit8 (15 Oct 2015 10.30am)

Thanks for the info. Didn't want tiring any builders as I didn't want to be hassled into having the work done straight away. I'll have a browse of the new videos on xhamster before I think about the roof again

Not much if it can be done without scaffold. The tile is a few quid and it wouldn't take a roofer long to do that.
