We're not everyday car users. Living close to London makes it a luxury we can usually do without but when we do need a car we simply hire one for a day or a week or whatever. For us this is much the most economic option but it took a while before we realised this and I won't say the adjustment was easy at first but we've saved ourselves about £3,500 over the last 3 years. If you've good Public Transport links, it's worth considering whether you need that car. I also enjoy posting on: Love Everton Forum, the Acceptable Face of Scouse Football. In an average week it might get used a couple of evenings and at weekends. Travel to work and Palace by train. I guess you have to plan ahead a bit more rather than having the luxury of knowing it is ready for you when you want. Fitter Fans Group 2. No. 17
