If like me you remember the days before dishwashers, the constant argument between me and my brothers when I was a kid was who would wash the plates, who would dry and who would make tea.
Just wondering if anyone had a preference. Washing was quicker, drying easier and making tea was a lot of pressure!

I hate washing up but I hate drying up and putting stuff away even more. Unfortunately I have to do both as my girlfriend says I don't do a very good job of cleaning the bog.

Sad times mate. Seems you can't even have a decent poo in the comfort of your own bog anymore. What is the world coming to? My trick is to spend about half an hour reading and playing games on my phone when I'm on the loo so by the time I'm done, she's done all the clearing away. Then I say "oh I was going to do that". Bosh! Works every time

My old trick used to be "I'm just popping to Co-Op, do you want me to get you a chocolate bar?" and quite often I'd come home to find it all done. She gets chocolate, I get a nice little walk and my chores done for me, everyone's happy.

A draining board is were things get dry and they get put away the next day. That's what I used to do.

In dog beers I’ve only had one.

Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link]
