Isn't it true that Queen Elizabeth is a illegitimate monarch? I'm sure it started with King Richard the 4th in the 1800s being a love child and every king and Queen since we're not legitimate including Queen Victoria. There's a documentary somewhere saying that this bloke who lives in Australia should be the current King.

I didn't realise we had such scholarly historians on HOL: Richard IV in the 1800s! Mind you, Russell Crow would make a good king.

She is luvverly. Especially after seeing the programme. Prince Philip was - unsurprisingly - a Grade A cvnt.

and will the story of all of Philip's infidelities get out eventually ?

Probably not because the fact that he regularly liked more than just a few noggins before he married The Queen never seemed to matter. He and the Marquis of Millfordhaven certainly tonked the old bottle every day and Philip was really an unlikely Consort, however, he made it so it seems people in high places do not have to worry about their comings and goings like the rest of us.

It is true that you can't trace her lineage back to Willam the Conquerer since the monarchy hasn't always been determined by inheritance alone. I am far more closely related to William than she is.

The Queen has, in large part, German ancestry.

You are referring to the fact that Queen Victoria was only the niece of her predecessor William IV who only had illegitimate children with an actress of the time Dorothea Jordan.
One of them should have been monarch and not Victoria but that was never going to happen.

It really demonstrates the absurdity of monarchy.
