Anyone got any great live songs captured on youtube or video for recommendation. I watch concerts on tv and generally don't get the feeling. I've been to some great performances live and was wondering whether anyone has examples of great live performances on video. sure holers can suggest a few others to look at.
Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping. Hubert Reeves |

Check out the Concert for George - the memorial concert held one year to the day after his death at the Albert Hall and filmed live. Cut out the Indian music first half if it's not your thing and watch 'Georges band'. All Harrison's music performed by the likes of Eric Clapton, Andy Fairweather-Lowe, Jeff Lynne, Albert Lee, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Billy Preston, Joe Brown, Gary Brooker, Ringo Starr, Ray Cooper et al. At one point there are 14 guitarists, 4 drummers, 2 percussionists, 4 keyboard players and a few 'others' on stage at the same time! Never tire of watching good musicians at their very best!

If you can find the video of the original 'Woodstock' there is a Santana performance to die for. Lot of other good stuff there too. Lent mine to someone and never saw it again

Maze Ft Frankie Beverly...Live in New Orleans Cant get a link up, BUT if you like 70's soul/jazz This is the band. Saw them at least 6 times in London throughout the late 70's/early 80's. Check them out & form your own opinion...

There's a cracking one of Pete Murphy of Bauhaus singing 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' hanging upside down hoisted by his ankles about 15 ft above the stage for the full 9 minutes.
