Interesting article on the future of English cricket on Cricinfo [Link]

Andrew Strauss the new director of cricket has sacked the coach, confirmed that the selector has no power by decreeing that KP can't be recalled and selected the captain and vice captain.

His next job is to find the next coach but which of those that could actually improve the side would actually want the job knowing that he would have to perform with one hand tied behind his back.

And his seemingly first choice pick, has another job to do in Australia for the next couple of years.
