I have the honour to say that I have been a Palace fan thanks done to one man, My Grandad. He introduced me to it when I was very small and took me to my first game Unfortuantely this year, the year I purchased my first season ticket, he was diagnosed with stomach and bowel cancer. After a series of diagnoses, we found out it was terminal. He was recently admitted to St. Chrsitophers Hospice in Croydon where he has recieved the most marvellous treatment and care to balance his pain. In his room he has a view of Selhurst park, and I take him a mathcday programme when I go to see him each week. He calls me up after every match to ask about the game(He hasn't enjoyed our recent results!). The care at St. Christophers, including from a doctor who doesn't want him to leave since he saw him reading the newspaper after the Man City Victory when he told him he was Palace fan, has been fantastic. However, only a third of it is funded by the NHS and the rest is by donations. So my family & I are doing a fun walk on Sunday to try and raise some money as a thank-you. Any support on our page, or to the Charity itself would be wnderful. Many people are worried about this, but it really has made him feel safe again. I can't think of a cause more relevant to us and so local that we can help. Thank you:
