The EU membership question really isn't as simple as 'in / out'.

It suits the vested interests to make it a stark choice.

Yep. The main guys in Westminster and the media will decide the outcome after certain influences.

Not good news for those who want an 'out'. Not good news at all.

Which, imo, is good.

Out.

Thank god we never changed to the Euro. Sooner we are out of that utopian idealistic nonsense the better off we will be.

I used to be quite anti-Europe but I think I've edged, just, towards staying in but I could still be persuaded.

Hmmmm no you didn't I was commenting from the perspective of the Euro zone supporter and how they feel "one Europe" would be.

But thanks for trying.

However, I think we need to take a step back from it and devolve from the majority of BS. The UK is in a great negotiating position so I think we should be able to do a deal that better reflects the general consensus in this country. Trade good- Free movement of people bad.

Man after my own heart!!!! We get no bang for our buck in Europe so lets separate ourselves totally and leave them to rot in their utopian nonsense.

Yep - like a referendum would make a blind bit of difference.

We need 'In' - but we need a review and repositioning of our relationship within it - but we need Europe and Europe needs us, what we don't need is to follow blindly and skip merrily down the complete federalisation path which seems to be the Brussels bureaucrat wet dream.

The new EU idea of making countries take in refugees from North Africa will only work in the favour of the out campaign.

I gather that our share is 20,000 for the first immediate tranche - with more to come later...........
