Back to Black by Amy Winehouse. She's done f**k all since, lazy cow.
To be honest some of the suggestions on here should count as blasphemy. The idea that the new Manics album is better than Everything Must Go, or Generation Terrorists, or the Holy Bible, or Gold Against The Soul..... Or Kid A better than the rest of the Radiohead back catalogue? DJ Shadow's Endtroducing and Ash 1977 for me. Loved both albums, but never got into anything else either have done. And would agree on the Stone Roses.
DJ Shadow is a great call. Entroducing is genius but everything after has just been all types of s*** that it is hard to believe the same guy made them Edited by martinb75 (28 Jan 2015 3.37pm)

Stone Roses, 2nd dross compared to first. Black Sabbath...epic first album, the 2nd is the first played backwards and the rest just derivitive. There's also a shed load of bands with one excellent album but the others are saved by just one or two stand-out tracks...but that's a different topic.
Bowie syndrome, except all 3 epic tunes would have been singles

Hard-Fi: Stars of CCTV. Brilliant album to stick on shuffle. Never bothered with their other albums.

Coldplay's Parachutes is a good album, the rest of their stuff leaves me cold.
And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways |

Blur. Blur: The best of is (IMO) their only great LP, the rest are a mixture of very good, meh and awful.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Talking of Blur, Parklife was brilliant but the others never really grabbed me.

The Arctic Monkeys' first album was fantastic; second was meh; third was awful.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Talking of Blur, Parklife was brilliant but the others never really grabbed me. Parklife was easily the best album, but in fairness I thought Great Escape was excellent as well, although very commercial.
