PALACE fans have been asked to join in a minute’s applause for a young Spurs fan who was found dead after vanishing on New Year’s Eve.

The body of young dad Brad Arthur, 24, was found yesterday in Essex following a six day search.

He had told friends when returning from his night out he would be going to sleep on his friend’s sofa but when they woke up he had disappeared.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are now set for a minute’s applause in the 24th minute of their match against the Eagles at Selhurst Park on Saturday (January 10).

His friends have also asked that Palace fans also pay their respects and the word is spreading on Twitter.

Many of the Selhurst faithful have already offered their support for the applause on Twitter and are trying to spread the word.

Brad was father to a two-month-old son called Archie, who was pictured wearing a t-shirt with the message ‘please find my daddy’ before the body was found.

Hundreds of volunteers, including Brad’s family and friends, joined the police to search for the missing dad in Grays, Essex.

A Facebook tribute site has been set up at [Link]
