Steve Kember has denied claims that the club is under pressure to sell players after six were released this week.

Wayne Carlisle recently joined reserve stars Jonathon Boardman, Kristian Dimond, Gareth Gwillum, Andrew Martin and Steven Warren on the way out of the club

But Kember said: "The club is not under pressure to sell. We are clearing the decks of those players who aren't close to the first team and they were all released under the same guidelines.

"They do clog up the system for the promising youngsters coming through."
