Crystal Palace snatched a late winner to beat London rivals West Ham 2-1.

Striker Jordan Ayew scored an 87th-minute winner after the video assistant referee overruled the linesman's initial offside call.

Palace's first victory at the London Stadium pushes them into the top four of the Premier League.

In the first half, Palace keeper Vicente Guaita stood firm to block's Sebastien Haller effort and Felip Anderson had two decent efforts to score.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey Schlupp's weak shot from Wilfried Zaha's cutback was easily cleared off the line.

Haller slotted home the opening goal for the Irons in the 54th minute after well-worked passing move.

Palace drew level from the penalty spot on 63 minutes after Declan Rice handled Cheikhou Kouyate's cross in the area.

Patrick van Aanholt – in the absence of the suspended Luka Milivojevic – stepped up to fire the spot-kick into the bottom left corner.

Three minutes from time, substitute Andros Townsend's delivery was knocked down by Martin Kelly and Ayew swept into the net.

The linesman had flagged for offside, but a VAR check overturned the decision as it showed the attacker marginally onside.
