Winger Elliot Grandin has been released by Crystal Palace.

Grandin was brought to the club by Ian Holloway in August from Blackpool on a free after they worked together at Bloomfield Road.

The 26-year-old played under Holloway in the top flight and signed a 12-month contract but only played one game for the Eagles.

He made the 25-man squad for the Premier League but only turned out in the 2-1 defeat to Bristol City in the Capital One Cup last August.

"Crystal Palace Football Club can today confirm that Elliot Grandin has left the club by mutual consent," a statement from Palace read.

"Crystal Palace would like to thank Elliot for his services to the club and we wish him all the best for his future career."
