Crystal Palace have snapped up Norwegian left-back Jonathan Parr for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old Norway international, who can also operate at left midfield, joins from Aalesund and has signed a three-year deal.
He said: "I know it's a tough league, a physical league and I know it was a tough season last year for the club. But I hope that it will be a better season this year and I'm really looking forward to coming here."
Parr started his career with Lyn in 2006 and joined Aalesund a year later where he made a total of 109 appearances and scored eight goals.
He has two caps for his country and played a important role in Aalesund qualifying for this season's Europa League.
Parr is manager Dougie Freedman's fourth summer signing following the arrival of Mile Jedinak, Kagisho Dikgacoi and Glenn Murray.
