The Den, Saturday 1.30pm
David Wright
David Wright will sit out the match at Millwall after the defender collected his fifth yellow card of the season at Bristol City.
Owen Garvan, Anthony Gardner and Darren Ambrose (flu) may be ready for selection, but Claude Davis (hamstring) is doubtful. Alex Marrow is set to return after recovering from an ankle injury.
Millwall defender Alan Dunne is suspended after his red card against Leicester City. Neil Harris (back) is in contention, but Paul Robinson and Dan Shittu (both hamstring) face late fitness tests.
Roy Hodgson
"The spirit in the squad is very good. I was really encouraged by the way we responded to missing so many players at Bristol.
"It was a patched up team but they performed well. We just need to stay switched on for 90 minutes. We've thrown away 11 points late in games in the past four or five away matches and we have to change that.
"But I'm sure we will learn from our mistakes and I think we can kick on and continue to improve in the New Year."
"I'm probably not supposed to say it but they're a decent bunch of lads [at Millwall] to be honest. With the rivalry between the two clubs it wasn't easy to fit in to begin with, but most football teams are the same really.
"It was just a case of going out to get some minutes, I hadn't played much and it was just a situation that Millwall were the team that wanted me to go there.
"So I went and did fairly well, I got some minutes in and that helped me, overall it was good experience.
"I did miss the lads at Palace though and when I came back they were all greeting me and saying it was good to see me back. Now we need to stick together and get out of trouble.
"I'm at Palace now and have been for a couple of years and the challenge remains becoming a first team regular in this side. That's all I'm focussed on. I got my chance [at Bristol] and hopefully I did OK. I was a bit rusty but I worked really hard and that's all you can ask."
