Interesting that Glasner has turned things round so quickly. Cant help but wonder what his secret is. Probably lots of stuff but two things strike me
1) we seem to have a fairly ego free squad who want to be at the club and where the players understand it's the manager and the coaching staff who direct the team.
2) Glasner must be a good and clear communicator if he's able to get players playing in unfamiliar positions with no fuss.

Club, coaching team and players deserve a lot of credit. Long may this continue.

Yes very impressive so far . The improvement in some if not all of the players is quite remarkable , There are a couple of them I would quite happily have driven to train station (fans of Yellowstone will know what I mean ) that are now nailed on starters

Its a funny old game ,but a simple one that includes running around a lot and having a shot at goal . Glasner has got that part sorted pretty quick ,looking forward to the continued improvement and better things to come

And we still need a striker

Yep. Of all the people at the club we want to hang around he’s looking like the main one.

The last the three performances have three of the best I’ve ever seen from Palace. The turnaround has been incredible. Mateta is a new man, Mitchell can seem to get forward and Eze has gone to a different level. Two excellent signings in January and the return of Eze/Olise have helped.

My concerns are:

1) we’ll lose key players in the summer - it’s important we keep up this form so the squad believe we can challenge for Europe next season.

2) The style of play is extreme high tempo and I’m not sure how long it can last. We’ll need more depth as it will likely lead to injuries.

Every reason to optimistic at the moment. Parish and co have to be credited for the January transfers and for wooing Glasner. I’m sure most of us didn’t have a clue who he was. This feels like a real turning point.

I don't think i have seen a team as fit as us, and constant pressing on the Newcastle defenece and keeper, and that with only a 3 day break, very impressive.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Even Glasner was shocked at the intensity in the first 30 minutes. Obviously we couldn't keep it up after having played on Sunday but that first half put Newcastle on the back foot.

A splendid performance full of intensity, vim and vigour.

Seeing the team in such peppy form really is a joy to behold and us supporters starved of entertainment in recent seasons are now experiencing unalloyed delight and glowing with happiness with the players seemingly enjoying playing under Oliver Glasner.

Onwards and upwards !

Wow. This team suddenly looks like top 6 contenders. Incredible from Glasner and the team.

To think we have Guehi, Doucoure and Lerma to come back in - that is an England International, Last years Player of the Year and a strong contender for this years Player of the Year

Transfer window coming and with Mitchell, Hughes and Clyne transformed we don't 'need' anyone to have a great season next year if the top trio of Eze, Olise and Mateta stay and stay fit.

The back ups of Ayew, Edouard and Franca don't look so great but Ayew has played his part this year (and last night), Franca might come good and Eduoard needs a big year on limited chances if he's to retain his standard of living in a contract year.

We need cover for the Wing backs. I guess we may need to sell to keep in with the financial fair play rules, and that has been shown to be a threat with teeth, but the quality of recruitment (Munoz and Wharton - wow again) has been superb. So we can be optimistic new additions can fit in to the Glasner system and do well.

It must be very satisfying for a coach to come to a new club, make such a difference so quickly and see his tactics pay off, particularly when the club is toward the bottom end of the league. The players have obviously been working very hard and have bought in to OGs methods. The results are there for all to see. There also seems to be a good team spirit which helps.
Unbounded optimism doesn't come easily but the future is looking bright enough that any setbacks can be accepted as part of the process. When the players are putting in so much effort it's hard to criticise them if things don't work out now and again.
