I hope Mateta stays this summer, he can really push on next season. Imagine this side with Dacoure/Guehi/Lerma all available as well. My wife and I said we can remember the last time we were so relaxed in the final 10mins haha

How they ended up with 2 and us only 5 I’ve no idea. It’s so unfamiliar it almost feels unnerving. I am reluctant to even talk about ‘reinforcements’ as the whole team just looks very much a representation of Glasner and his system now. Forget Guehi/Eze/Olise, we could probably sell Hughes and Clyne for a £100mil based on that, they were both superb today. Was sublime to witness.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

It's another thing to torture cats(which Zouma has done successfully, not receiving the right punishment, especially from the wetspam officials) and its a different case to try and mark Eze. No further comments!

Sadly wasn't able to watch the game today but watched the highlights and we simply dominated. Fantastic performance!! Eze and Olise are glorious to watch. If we can hold onto them for just 1 more season, get a full year of Glasner ball with them, I'll be a happy man. Mateta goals also brilliant. How did Richards play on his return?

If you want a laugh go to Knees Up Mother Brown the West Ham forum. Before the game it was all doom and gloom none of them thought they would win today and they hate Moyes and Sullivan. Normally you have a few bullish fans "We're going turn this lot over etc" The Match day thread is hilarious you have to feel for the board moderator. Every so often I would read this "This post has been removed for breaking forum rules", swearing I guess. Anyway good to see we are not the only ones that moan about their team. Did they want it to be 8-0 instead which is what they deserved?

The most amazing thing about today was 4 goals in one half up our end, it usually takes a few months to see that many goals up the Whitehorse, not half an hour Fair play to the spammers fans though for taking that first half on the chin with some good natured gallows humour chanting

Very funny that you don’t hear from the Mateta moaners anymore.. he has been sensational .. always been a fan but his improvement under Ollie’s been amazing.. top man.. looking forward to him scoring many more...always been a fan...
