I don't know the demographic of the so called protesters, although I can hazard a guess.

I've been a supporter since 1967. Things have been far, far worse with the club than most of those people can imagine.

The present situation isn't great but only a few points separate Palace from Fulham, Brentford and Bournemouth and yet those clubs aren't experiencing angst from their fans.

Do I feel spoilt ? No. Why ? Because I've seen enough dross down the years that I feel a sustained run in the Premier League is a kind of reward for my loyalty. I think I've earned it.

I'm frustrated by the events of this season which could yet end in the Perfect Storm of relegation. My hope is that we stay up, lessons are learned and that we are able to re-set positively next season.

I don't think that's asking too much

No, I keep hearing how we should be grateful for our 11 seasons in the Premier league, why ? You've got the big 6 and then you have Everton, Newcastle, villa, West ham and Leeds In a group of their own. After that you have about 30 clubs relatively similar in size. Yeah it's great we're in the top 10 of them 30 clubs but it's not really that surprising or anything worth celebrating. Whenever we've been in the 2nd division we've always been competitive financially, a fan base that reflects our league position.

You appear to have wiped 2 administrations from your memory. There isnt a 2nd division, its League 2 and we have never played in it.

Palace fans are not spoilt, nor are the stupid, it any 11 show 100% effort with some attacking intent then they back the manager and players 100%, if they carry on with the defensive, half hearted performance of lately, then though will get slaughtered, and so they should, Roy is becoming an embarrassment and Parish, who i have always backed, isn't far behind

Agree 100 percent . Luton turned up with 11 and attacked the living s*** out of Chelsea and they didnt have a clue what was going on , it was like wtf is going on here how dare they attack us they are Luton and we are the mighty Chelsea. In the words of the wize old sage Corporal Jones "They don't like it up 'em!". No we are not spoilt Roy and Steve should both do one. He valued the club at 750 mill he's having a giant big f*** off giraffe.

SHORT REPLY.
I'm old school or perhaps just old.
It's great to see what has been done by the HF, though I question some of the stuff such as the germanic font used for the logo and why do some fans not even watch the game ???

This season has seen the going get really tough.
I'm sad to see some fans turn on the club.
Palace managment/owners are an easy target. These are the people who have brought some really outstanding, international class players to little old Palace.
Yes, the squad is too thin but our resources are limited.

With my tin hat on, it is (only) my opinion that some fans are getting above themselves. Producing a banner that may only reflect a minority opinion is one example. Slagging off your own players in front of opposition is another and embarassing.

Get behind your team. COYP !

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

I'm with you on this askyourself. It would seem that some 'fans' have expectations of our club that are beyond realistic capabilities given our financial situation. We are not wealthy, we do not contravene FFP guidelines and we are a long established EPL club.

I'll join you in calling for everyone to 'get behind your team.'

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I think the majority of fans are aware of the limited potential of the club. We don't expect much. A decent cup run and maybe just maybe a finish high enough for qualification for a Euro place would be considered a great season.

What is expected is the team to be spirited, try 100% and occasionally surprise a 'big' club. We expect Palace to have a go.

I don't think that's being spoilt.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Are West Ham fans spoilt?
Around 8th in the table, winners of a European trophy and buyers of expensive players.
And yet many of their fans can't stand Moyes.
Why?
He sets them up to defend at home and still loses 6-0.
He plays with 10 behind the ball and takes minimal risk regardless of the opposition.
Notice any parallels?
Arguably Hodgson and Moyes set the teams up to play the most negative and least pleasing on the eye football in the Premier League
If Eze and Olise, or in West Ham's case Paqueta and Antonio are out, forget it.
These are not progressive managers.
They've had their day.
It's a glib response to say fans are spoilt beceause they don't like to watch this dross
Any team can have an off day, but I've hardly enjoyed any of our performances this season.
Furthermore, I'm saying this having witnessed the likes of Bason, Langley and Mahoney.
I go back a long way.

Most working class club in London other than Millwall. Of course, we are spoilt. Should be in League 2 where we belong

I think some younger fans are spoilt, they don’t know what real pain being a palace fan is. Football outside the premier league doesn’t exist and the thought of relegation is the end of the world.

I cant see many criticising or not behind the team POG its more to do with Roy's outdated methods and his unwillingness to change and constant need to play people out of position and Parishes and co,s broken record of using the FFP as an excuse not to spend money , we have a very paper thin squad with no strength in depth how do other teams manage and stay within the guidelines. i will be behind the team only if they give 100 percent , but i think they are as fed up with the situation as we are .

This could be heaven or this could be hell .
