To bring Olise on at half time, when the game is gone is the worst decision he has made as manager, along with not playing Johnstone, i am sick of the site and sound of him

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Just two rays of sunshine in the gloom.

Nunoz - promising going forward
Wharton - accomplished, looks good for the future

Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

If olise didn’t feature today I’d have said now we build for Chelsea/Burnley games.

What a monumental error playing olise

Positives are Munoz/franca/wharton got a run out.

Season is over, let’s hope we stay up and parish doesn’t offer Roy a new deal

It's a very sad end, but this has to be the end.

Everything you just said is spot on. We all knew it was a terrible mistake playing Henderson, he gives no confidence to Anderson and Guehi so they are nervy from the off.

Putting Olise on was almost criminal. No bigger picture thought what so ever. 3 - 0 down, he should have gone straight to Franca to give the kid some time.

He really has no clue anymore

He kept Olise on 3-1 up against Brentford---Olise gets injured. He causes injuries to our star players by not playing players better able to support them and they get injured...plays this sh1tfest of a line-up putting pressure on players again....who get injured...then whines about his bad luck not having players fit for his next match....but Crystal Palace have a squad that many teams would envy. But Roy plays substandard regulars all the effing time causing players to get injured trying to do too much. He has to go.
I predicted a 3-0 defeat from the whistle. How could it be anything else? TO WHOM were the defenders and mids supposed to feed the ball to???? That is football basics. Brighton could see there was ZERO risk going forward and that's what they did, all 90 minuites, smashing our mids and defenders, because Roy WOULD NOT provide a threat to them on our forward line. Schlupp???? Hughes??? (OMG Hughes is so effing WEAK and non-threatening) Just Mateta and Ayew. Which adds up to ZERO threat up forward. This debacle is Roy and Roy alone. WTF was that forward line going to do to Brighton??? It meant that from the first whistle the ball was going to be in Palace's half. Very poor management. But no doubt he'll have a excuse. How about STARTING with Olise thereby giving Wharton and Munoz a bit of time to settle in? Roy oh Roy...

Looking on the bright side, if Olisse has a £50 mill release clause, he will NOT be sold this summer, because no one will be stupid enough to buy some one who only plays a handful of games, he will need to play a lot of games to justify anyone meeting release clause, u18s were brilliant this morning, great academy thanks to SP

Roy is supposed to be a defense first manager but we look chaotic at the back often and give up easy goals (not helped by a poor goalkeeper).
Makes one wonder what they actually do in practice: it's not set pieces obviously, apparently not defense, definitely not offense. Munoz and Wharton must be horrified at what they have been dumped into.

I expect he brought Olise on for fitness.

I'm more concerned with the fact that the team can't defend and can't string a pass together without our two best players on the field.

Wharton and Munoz look like very good signings, but I'm having a very bad feeling about our prospects if we can't get our best players fit.

We are basically against Forest and Luton for the drop and after today's depressing spectacle, I'm not optimistic.

Can hear the bumbling idiot now in his post match conference..

“Roy you’ve just 4-1 in your clubs big derby game - what are your thoughts”
“Well we set up to keep in the game - thought actually that was going well and must mention thought Jeff and Will were both excellent today - then we lost Guehi and I had to bring on the youngster Andrew”
“Roy do you mean Adam”
“Oh is that he’s name - well anyway he’s only 19 - and then things got out of control”
“Thought we had a chance if I bought on Micheal - yes he was injured but thought it was the only call - as only other options a load of youngsters”
“At that point I really thought we were still in the game - then Micheal’s hamstring went - and that was that”
“Anyway spoke to,Steve he said here’s your BFH (bus fare home) - but I have my senior citizens bus pass”
“I’m by the sea so think I’ll stop off for some cod and chips and eat it on the bus home”
“Err thanks Roy”
“No problem”

"Yes SNH, you were right all along, Roy Hodgson is a clueless, well past his sell by date muppet"

I tried to tell you, finally you agree. But don't despair, there is always the chance to regroup with a positive mindset for the remainder of the season.
Over to you Steve, you knpw what to do, you must be used to it by now.
