Ourselves and Brentford are the most out of form teams in the league. We have both picked up 3 points from last 6 games. I think Roy should be replaced regardless of the result, because we are a bloody circus act of a club having a temporary manager at this level.

Most of our best players are just praying for a transfer to get them away from us.

One could pose the question "Would anyone else do better with the players at our disposal" ?

I have of course heard and perused the animus towards Mr Hodgson but I have also heard some express the opinion that the overall strength of the squad is far from adequate and the manager can only deal with the hand he is dealt.

Agreed. He’s had injuries and a bad window, but we’re nearly as full strength now as we can be. And we ain’t winning with these tactics.

If Roy was manager of the Beatles he’d have had John Lennon on drums. They’d have also been playing Jazz from the 1930’s as it was popular once.

Roy is one dimensional. The comments about the squad is fair but he does himself no favours by failing to adapt. His biggest asset - organisation and working on defensive shape is his biggest failing too.

Pulis got a tune out of a far worse squad. Roy couldn’t get a tune out of England.

Yes we need better players, but let’s not pretend the tactics would change.

Luton being 3 points behind us with a game in hand should shut down that point of view. The squad, even with the injuries, is better than the results.

Anything but a win on Saturday and Roy can't even complain about being ousted. The one game in a month after it is the perfect time for a reset whatever happens. If the next manager that the club wants is available, I see no reason to wait for the summer. Roy is no longer the safe option he had previously shown himself to be.

The problem is that with the way we're heading we'll lose Eze, Olise & Guehi and the prospects of replacing any of them are almost zero.
Roy should resign and go with a bit of dignity.

That's a fair point, but what's happened to our energy, chasing down players. He relies on certain players far to much and is so afraid to mix it up. His Substitutions are and have always been shocking. He should never have come back! It's like bloody ground hog day!

We have a threadbare Squad and no one could do better than Roy and Ray two or three players in the right positions this coming window will see a huge improvement. In Roy we trust.

Time to go Roy.

Fingers crossed Steve P. is taking his gun cabinet key out of his desk tomorrow morning. Draw a line under 2023. Now.

As a genuine question, why is it then that any time he’s turned up at a club/National side it’s the same tactics?

The man lost Roberto sodding Carlos as he didn’t play him in the right position and had Harry Kane taking corners. We could sign Messi, he’d play Ayew.
