I thought I read somewhere that Glasner prefers a big man up front like JPM.

We need another striker if we could get another JPM I would be happy as he could then rotate.

Perfect, Glasner must have an insight on the German market, as Richards and Mateta both came from it

Yep, with out system, I think we need someone upfront who can lead the line.

Would rather we invest in some reinforcements for the wide positions.

When Burnley were doing well a few years ago they had 3/4 strikers who were interchangeable. None of them cost a fortune must were big lumps with varying degrees of skill, Chris Wood probably being the best of the bunch.

The point being that the team did not have to change tactics if one got injured or lost form.

So for me Eddie has to go and we get a JPM II.

What are the wide positions in Glasner's 3-4-2-1? Much depends on the extent to which he will use a back 4 with two wide attackers. If he's rarely going to use a back 4 then it's about the wingbacks operating out wide.

I shall be interested in seeing where Olise plays when he's back in the team. As I recall, he was happy playing as a 10 at Reading when called upon to do so, so we may well see him narrow with Eze just behind the striker. Time will tell, of course.

Do you think Ebiowei get a chance if and when he comes back?

He needs to make an impact in his current team which so far he's failed to do. I have seen nothing of him and Plange to suggest they are PL players.

And Ahamahahamada was named best young player in Germany so he knows him too.

Not sure Richards played many times for Bayern.

No Wingers, Wing backs at the moment Munoz and Mitchell, i am sure Mitchell will have competition next season, and Eze and Olise secondary strikers behind Mateta. Olise in place of Ayew.

From the wing backs and the outside forwards I assume.

Both Eze and Olise can and like playing 10. But with this formation there isn't really a set 10. But both will, I'm sure, be given the task of widening the pitch when needed, but also coming inside to find pockets of space.

Before thinking about selling, IMO the no1 recruitment need is a LWB. The difference Munoz has made in a couple of weeks is huge, we need to find another.

Could Mitchell play on the left hand side of the back 3?

Interesting idea, but, assuming he stays next season, where would Guehi play/fit in? I'd rather we got someone to replace Ward on the RHS of the back 3.
