I'd have him back as an impact sub and just to take him away from those mean Everton supporters. I still miss that giant Yala smile

Not really. Bolasie had his time with us, and we have now both moved on. I don't think with the injury he had, that he could add anything to our team. Although, let us see what we do in the transfer market. He could well be a cheap option if others transfers don't appear.

Was always going to happen to him after a "big" move, he had the luxury of being able to make mistakes at palace and we wouldn't get on his back, similar to Wilf.

Everton fans already have the pitchforks out since Sam has been managing and then add in a very serious injury you can see why he is struggling and they are turning on him.

Its a real shame the way his career has gone, but it wasn't just me that predicted how it would turn out.
For every trick that came off there were a dozen embarrassing fails.
But because he was such a likable person and we saw him improve over time most of us treated his shots that went out for throw ins with a smile.
The expectancy of a large money transfer would mean that most things that he tried would have to produce an end product, if not the fans would get on his back and his confidence would go.
I heard the commentator last night say that he is doing everything at 100mph and should slow down, that is not Bolasie.
There is no room for sentiment in business, so purely on a financial level, we need to draw a line under that one ,but wish him the best wherever he goes.

Not going to be easy but we need to be looking for the next Zaha for when he either leaves or suffers a long term injury. Either someone from the academy or a young winger from the Championship.

Yala was great but we need to move on from ex players in particular if they are on £80k a week.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

No thanks. We should move on from the archetypal "bring back this and that ex Palace player" scenario. He’s not the player he once was after that injury, so half the fans wanting him back need to seriously take off the rose tinted specs.

I’d keep Townsend anyday of the week.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

If he hasn't shone at Everton, how can we ever get more out of him?

I prefer to avoid sleeping with an ex.

Palace fan from Kenley, as a kid. Everyone was Chelsea (it was '72) so I was Palace. Thanks Palace for all the fun.

I loved watching Yala, his tricks and flicks were awesome. His end product did used to drive me nuts though, although towards the end that did improve.
If the price was right then I would have him back but not as a replacement for Townsend or Wilf.

He hasn't been a complete failure at Everton (he bossed Kyle Walker around in the Man City game) but not worth the transfer fee - not the only one recently at Everton

He is contracted to June 2021 at 80,000 per week. Given his injury record looks like they are stuck with him unless they want to take a huge hit

I loved watching Yannick in a Palace shirt but we have moved on since he left - and so has he. At 28 (soon 29) he is no youngster. So it is a definite no-no unless there is a cut price deal available (which I doubt).
