Paolo Di Canio has been forced by the Sunderland board in to resignation after it was revealed he has a Thatcher tattoo on his arse. The Sunderland board released a statement saying 'Having a tattoo supporting Mussolini is one thing, but Thatcher! One was a lunatic whose oppressive right wing views destroyed the lives of hundreds of thousands of their own people. Mussolini wasn't all that great either'. Di Canio has defended himself by saying 'I am a fascist, not a Thatcherite'.

Thatcher has a mixed legacy. Her haters find it too hard to point to her success or instead find negatives even within them. The reality is that every main party's politics are wearing her clothes to some extent. She won the economic argument....Well at least with them if not with the 'head in the sand' ideologues who think that continuing with Foot was preferable. For that was the choice we had, Foot or Thatcher, no one else. In my view she deserves all the respectful recognition that she will officially receive. I am too young to remember Thatchers era, but if you were lower class like my family, you struggled, while the rich benefited. Heartless bitch, good riddance, I say.

People who eulogise her as the 'greatest prime minister ever' might want to take a closer and more objective look at her record. People who are celebrating her death are behaving deplorably and ought frankly to be ashamed of themselves.
