I was wondering if anyone could help me with some research that I am doing? I am trying to find an archive of Palace's results from the Southern League for the 1906-1907 season and beyond. I have the Official History of the Southern League 1894-1994 by Leigh Edwards, which gives me all the results and final tables, however, I need the dates of the matches, which this does not give. Lionel Francis's book of 25 years previous does not either.

Crystal Palace a complete record 1905-1989, by Mike Purkiss with the Rev Nigel Sands, published by Breeden Books Sports, has a complete Rothsmans/sky sports Football Yearbook style page fpr every season up to and including1988/89.
Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link] |

The book mentioned has them and we'll have them on this website in the near future, probably by the end of January I think if you can wait.

That book looks exactly what I need. If anyone has it would they mind telling me the results of any home Southern League games that Palace played between their FA Cup giant-killing of Newcastle on 12th January 1907 and their loss to Spurs on the 9th February 1907?

You are a legend. This will help a lot. If I ever get a book published I'll give you a mention.

This card was done by a Newcastle fan after we beat them in 1907. It was a shock of humungous proportions and the Toon man was obviously shocked and upset about it! Attachment: Newc v CPFC 1907.jpg (210.38Kb)
