I remember a game in the 90's v Millwall at home.

I was with my brother in law who brought his mate and 10 year old son who were Millwall fans. I say fans, the bloke was proud of the fact that he allegedly never paid to get in to the old den. Both of them were numpties and not good company. We all sat together in the Old Stand.

About 10 minutes in the Millwall lot in the Arthur charged towards us on the pitch and pandemonium set in around us and this bloke was cheering on the thugs and shouting "Go on run Palace!". After the game we walked back to the car and most windows had been put in on the cars and houses in Holmesdale Road.

Happy to say that to this day I have not set eyes on the Millwall tw*t, he really was scum even though he was a businessman with kids. Scary.

I forgot to say that just before half time I went out for a p1ss and the millwall kid followed me and said "buy us a burger". I politely told him to fcuk off and buy his own. When I got out of the bogs there was a steward trying to get him down from the roof of the stand where he'd climbed up and then got scared about how high he was. I got his dad (eventually, as he was too busy watching the game to worry that his kid was in danger) who just shouted "Charlie, get down now before I kick your arse". That sorted it funnily enough.

I have mentioned this in another thread but I recall one particular unpleasant visit to the old Den in 68,among the many other unpleasant visits.
We entered the ground at the stand end but could not gain access to the terracing,as you had to walk up the banking first which was full up.

We were escorted down to the other end and stood beneath the roof covered terracing.After a while we could hear strange noises above our heads and felt something falling on our shoulders.It wasn't long before we realised what was happening as their fans were ripping up the asbestos,I think it was,and throwing down upon our heads.We managed to get to the back safely and told a copper who simply told us with a few choice words that he would leave them to get on with it.

I have several other experiences with them but it gets boring repeating them after a while.
