Todays first download is a set by Elbow that was recorded at this years iTunes Festival at the Camden Roundhouse on the 12th September 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows and albums by Elbow over the years - but nothing recently, so this makes a change. If you like Elbow - grab this set, this is the mutts....great stuff!... Todays second download is a set by Guns N Rose that was recorded in Dusseldorf, Germany on the 30th August 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not really posted that many GNR shows over the years according to my files, which surprised me.. I though I had more than I actually do. This is another top show for the collection and if you like GNR this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by The Cramps that was recorded at Club 57 New York on the 18th August 1979. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. The final 9 tracks are from studio demos with the audio being taken from the studio soundboard - again top quality sound. According to my files this is the first bootleg by The Cramps that I've posted - but not the first album as I've previously posted a couple of their studio released albums. If you like The Cramps and want to hear them live - grab this show.... Todays first download is a set by Robert Zimmerman A.K.A. Bob Dylan and a bootleg recorded at two venues a few days apart in 1975. The first part of the boot was recorded at the Technical University, Lowell, Massachusetts on the 2nd November 1975 and the second part of the boot is from another show a few days later in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The quality of this bootleg is superb considering that its nearly 40 years old - absolutely fantastic sound. A top setlist as well with the classics "Blowin In The Wind" and "It Ain't Me, Babe". This is a fantastic bootleg and if you like Bob Dylan you really must have this one.. Todays second download is a set by Ryan Adams that was recorded at the recent iTunes Festival at the Camden Roundhouse on the 21st September 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard via an iTunes webcast and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by Ryan Adams that I've posted - the previous being earlier this year at the Newport Folk Festival. I've also posted 3 studio released albums. Todays extra download is a set by Fitz & The Tantrums that was recorded at this years Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, Texas on the 12th October 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted and I only know what I got from Wiki. They come from Los Angeles - formed in 2008 and have released two albums. the first of which reached #1 on the Billboard chart. They play indie soul/pop and are very good... if you don't know this band - download this show and give them a try... Todays first download is a set by Madness that was recorded at this years Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary on the 16th August 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by Madness over the years as well as a lot of studio released albums. A top setlist on this one with the classics "My Girl" "House Of Fun" and "Baggy Trousers" all being played. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted dozens of Kiss shows over the years on the mp3 thread and this is another top sounding show for the collection. Todays extra download is a jazz set by the Brecker Brothers band that was recorded at the Fasching Jazz Club, Stockholm, Sweden on the 15th July 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a webcast of the set and it sounds top notch. This is the first bootleg by The Brecker Brothers that I've posted - as it's the first bootleg I've seen. The band split in 2007 when Michael Brecker died of leukemia. His brother Randy Brecker reformed the band again in 2012 and they are still going today. They have released 10 albums over the years and in 2013 released a live reunion album. If you know of and like The Brecker Brothers - then grab this show... this sounds top notch.. Todays first download is a 6 disc bootleg set recorded at the 13th annual Bridge School Benefit. This show was recorded at the Shoreline Amphitheater, Mountain View, California on the 31st October 1999 and it's in superb quality with the audio being taken from the soundboard and it sounds fantastic - really top notch sound. There are a lot of artists giving their time to this charity which is a favourite of Neil Young - he performs at all the Bridge School benefit shows. Starting off with a few songs by Neil Young - then Emmylou Harris, The Who, James Iha & Billy Corgan, Lucinda Williams, Brian Wilson, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Sheryl Crow and Neil Young... This is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended...
