Todays first download is a recent set by Arcade Fire that was recorded at the Capitol Studios, Los Angeles, California on the 28th October 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. AF are touring in support of their album "Reflektor" (previously posted) and play some tracks from the album. If you like Arcade Fire - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've not posted anything by Simple Minds for a while - so here's one, thats contains 4 of their best tracks.. if you like Simple Minds - grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by Gary Clark Jr. that was recorded at the Werchter Festival in Belgium on the 5th July 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg or album by GC that I've posted - an oversight on my part which will be rectified during the coming weeks. Gary Clark Jr has released 3 albums to date and has appeared with some of the rock world greats - The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Jeff Beck, Sheryl Crow, ZZ Top and more.... and his style of blues/rock is top notch. If you don't know this artist - give him a try... Todays first download is a set by The Rolling Stones that was recorded at the Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA on the 31st October 1994. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. The Stones were touring in support of the "Voodoo Lounge" album and were on the North American part of a tour that would last over a year!. I've posted shows from this tour before but I can't see this one listed in my files. This is a cracking show - easily one of the best I've heard from this tour and the band are really playing well... not a bad track on this boot... you know what to do.... Todays second download is a set by The Smashing Pumpkins that was recorded in Vancouver, Canada on the 8th January 1997. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast and sounds top notch. When I checked my files I was surprised to see that I've only posted 3 other boots by the Pumpkins - I was sure I'd posted more than that.. however, it doesn't matter as this one more than makes up for any ommissions. This is a top set and if you like SP's then you will want this one... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by John Hiatt that follows on from the one I posted recently. This is only the second show by JH that I've posted - and this is in absolutely superb quality with the audio being taken from a pre-fm broadcast which is absolutely pin drop crystal perfect sound. This show was recorded at the Forum in London on the 30th October 1993 and its a wicked set. If you liked the previous show I posted recenly - then grab this one as well.... this is thoroughly recommended....
