C'mon people, Stockport away. We all thought that was it and we were going down but we just kept on singing on and on as if it was the only way of staying up and sure enough it worked followed by the mass pitch invasion when the game wasnt even over so everyone started shouting 'GET OFF THE PITCH' once again the palace fans had pulled together and it works every time.

My favorite was our promotion/championship season in 93/94 when we were playing at Southend one Tuesday night in March(???). I believe we managed to cram about 5,000 into that pissy little ground, leaving the home fans with what seemed to be a very small cage in the corner!! When Armstrong put us 2-1 up it was very hard to even celebrate the goal considering there were far too many of us on that terrace to be able to move freely.
Also, 6,000 making the long journey up to Liverpool for the 5-0 semi on a cold Wednesday night takes some beating.

The one that immediately springs to mind for me was Norwich away April 99. We had gone into administration the day before and fielded a team of mostly kids making there debut. We won 1-0, Deano scoring in the first 15 minutes and hanging on for the rest. A real bond happened that day between players and fans and the atmosphere in the Palace end was just unbelievable. I think the 3-4,000 of us just thought that this was going to be our last ever game and it's a memory that will stay with me forever.

I was there too, what a day. There was genuine emotion that day. That was possibly deano's finest day for us

Sorry about the repeat of the word "day"

The Arsenal game was amazing. Couldn't get tickets for the away end so ponced some of a tout outside for the North Bank. Couldn't believe how many Palace were in there when we scored.

I was in the North bank for this got a load of verbal when we got up for the second goal.
This fat gooner after the match asked what we had ever won,and i just said 2-1 today!
Then i proceeded on my way home by train and wound another gooner up who got off at Orpington.
I said this is a Palace area and that he was a glory hunter, too which he replied when he had supprted them 1971 they hadn`t won anything,i informed him they won the double that year and it would have been the treble if we hadn`t beaten them in the league cup(only team to win at highbury that year!).
I said see yo next year if you still support them after today, christ he was nearly crying little prick!

So many, not including semis and finals:
Chelsea fa cup 76
Wrexham 77, Oh what a night.
Man City 89
Nottm Forest in some Simod/Zenith thingy
Southampton 0-0 1990, the game after Anfield. Open terrace, not a massive turnout, had fun with Tim Flowers and it took balls to go there after losing 9-0!!!!!
