As a general rule, I think once someone has had a 'first team' contract for Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd etc. then they are no longer a viable target, regardless of how affordable a transfer fee may be. Man u a good shout. The fans aren't happy with Weghorst - who I think was a loan with a buy option. Abraham's quite good in the air and with the ball at feet. Would certainly compete for a place up front for them. Unless they've already lined someone up.

Guess it's just me but I've never been that impressed by Abraham. A lot of noise about a player when he was at a `big` club. Would he be rated so highly if he'd come from a Stoke etc. I put him in the same bracket as Welbeck and Sturridge. You say that like a prime Welbeck or Sturridge wouldn't both be huge upgrades on our current strikers, as would Abraham. His scoring record speaks for itself really - he averages a goal every other game in his career to date. Would be a huge coup.
