Hi I have hotel and flights booked for the villa game but even with international membership I don’t think I will manage to get 2 tickets. Even if the game is not on sky is there any pub near the ground that streams the matches ? Thanks in advance for any advice.

There may be a TV blackout on the day, same as Saturdays @ 3pm

If the massive great long list of global broadcasters that gets posted on here on matchdays is anything to go by, the last thing you'd want to do if you want to watch a Palace match live on TV is to fly to the UK!

Yep it would be too easy to stay home and watch it but we plan to go to the ground early to try at the box office. But if that doesn’t work we wanted a back up plan to watch it somewhere with a bar. In Ireland if we don’t like the game sky is showing we just stream the game we want to see and I was hoping it was the same in Croydon.

No the authoritarians don't look too kindly on pubs showing streamed football . Many have been heavily fined for doing so and those that do are behind locked doors and drawn curtains . You basically have to be a regular to watch in the pub .

Nobody is going to publicise what pubs stream games

And we still need a striker

I thought Sky streamed most of the last games of the season live. Although they will focus on the key matches maybe ours would not be one.

Maybe a key match should Villa need something to qualify for the 'Champions' League, but given how s***e Spurs have now become, that's unlikely to be the case.

Going to the ground early will be a waste of time if you don't have a ticket, if any tickets become available they'll go to people on the waiting list. I don't think the box office has sold home tickets in person for years! Your best chance of getting tickets will be on that waiting list, on this website, BBS (cpfc.org) or palace facebook pages like 'CPFC Forever'.

From Tipp myself .

Hi lads, appreciate the feedback. I think we may have to buy from some online company at maybe €300 for a pair. What kills me is even when we have sold out games when I watch on tv I always spot empty seats.

Have you tried the Palace groups on FB? One particular one is "the eagles have landed" A guy called Grant Saunders runs it & deals with tickets that become available or wanting to be sold. Worth a look.
