The demonization of CPFC fans of TP (based on the infantile notion that a judicial decision against his contractual claims equals his devilishness in all matters pertaining to his tenure at Palace) is one of the most frightening examples of treacherous, ungrateful, murderous, brainless, cultish, Manson-follower-like behaviour I have ever beheld. I am ashamed of these morons.

Two days before the season he left. The damage he could have done due to his dishonest behaviour could have been detrimental. Luckily, after Warnock looked like taking us down Pardew turned it around.

Get your facts right. If you don't mind people having our club over a barrel then fine. Enjoy your pint with Bostock, Bruce and Pulis.

He did a great job for us in a very short space of time, which included a very good transfer window where he brought in Dann, Ledley and Jimmy Mac. What went on after that between him and the Chairman god only knows.

The way he left and the timing was not great, a bit like the Fat Sam situation we found ourselves in. My own thoughts are that he is a good manager, but uncompromising.

Your Chairman is a good guy and Boro through and through, so it will be interesting to see what happens. If it does go tits up it would be down to Pulis spitting his dummy out...

Warnock signed Jimmy Mac.

I stand corrected, who was the other signing Pulis made, I am sure there was more than 2?

Being a Palace fan living in Boro, so knowing both clubs I think the appointment of Pulis is actually more a case of Gibson planning for next season rather than this. He invested very heavily in player personal in the summer (Think it was around 50 mill. A massive amount which Monk turned into boring `keep the ball` football (Sounds familiar). A lot of the outlay was on exciting forward players (Assombalonga). I think Gibson believes ay half decent manager should be able to get such a squad promoted but it is with an eye to Pulis's ability to keep teams in the Premier that he has really got him, in the hope of when he does he can stabilize Boro in the Premier for a few years. However, given the disgust from Boro fans at how Karanka got them to play in the Premier (this disgust was very apparent even within the first few premiership games) I do wonder if the Boro faithful will be able to accept Pulis's style of play.

Pulls came for the money. He told members of his backroom staff not to bother joining him as he wasn’t going to be around for long. His financial dealings are in part a matter of record. The Court believed he purposely tried to damage the club upon leaving. Not much more to say. Use him but be very very careful.

By the way, he always insists on getting a cut of all sell on fees. So he is always keen to sell the most valuable players.

Great manager, greedy, manipulative despicable person.
Google 'Pulis Gillingham court case' - we weren't the first to be screwed over by him, and I doubt we will be the last.

Couldn"t have put it better

It would be difficult to judge him this season, but he could get you back in the PL the following year with a few additions to your squad. I thought it was a strange move for him taking the Boro job, as it is a step down for him, but then again he most probably never thought he would get the sack from WBA.... Good luck!

Well seeing that he has a £3m court bill to pay I would imagine he had to take the first job offered to keep up the payments. Don't be too surprised when he jumps ship from Boro if a better premiership offer comes his way in the summer

You may be right about Gibson's future plans but not too sure Pulis will have the same ideas. You have probably paid top dollar for him and he could easily lever his way back into the Prem if need be come Xmas if you do not go up this year.

In my opinion, best manager we have ever had. He took a team of Moxey, Parr, Cam Jam, Damo, Gabidon, Gayle, Bannon etc... With only four points from 11 games, to finish 11th. He won LMA manager of the year and without Tony Pulis we would have been relagated.

Only issue was the dark cloud in which he left. He knew his stock was high, he lied and then quit. Similar to big Sam, but at least Sam left at the end of the season.

You be in the promotion pack but it won't be smooth sailing. Pulis strike's me as a difficult man if he doesn't get his way.

Best over over a six month period maybe... but even then that's debatable because other managers like Dowie, Bassett and many more had immediate short term impacts that oversaw dramatic transformations.

A miraculous six months under Pulis, yes. But in the grand scheme of our history, comparing him to Steve Coppell who built a team of internationals from a team of imbeciles (and forgetting the achievements of many other managers) doesn't add up for me.

George Courtney, the World Cup referee, everyone is looking at him. When will he blow....?
