Still very dangerous as most are but they tend to do major damage anyway. Hidden in a bucket. That's a new one for the UK. IRA used to hide them in bins.

Unless your brave and fancy going up with it I guess it has to go in something

You know I am actually on the same page as you there. I watch a lot of documentaries about serial killers and I am always disappointed when I hear that the police shot them. Even moderately disappointed when they hang themselves in jail early into their stint.

Yes, some people might get their turbans in a tangle over this.

Can't imagine Parsons Green was the intended target - it's the @rse end of nowhere. Same tube line takes you through Victoria and right through the middle of London, which would be far more disruptive. Maybe went off (partially) early, or late (don't know which direction the train was going).

Speedy recovery to all those affected, slow painful death to the perpetrator(s)

A receptacle of that size, if filled with home made explosive could cause a f*** load of damage and bring the tube to a stand still and kill everyone on that carriage, minimum. You think what a ruck sack filled with explosive did on 7/7, that bucket would hold twice as much.

Thankfully the t w a t t, didnt get it right, and it would seem (i'm just making an educated guess) that the detonator is what went off, but failed to set the main explosive off, thanks Christ.

Still, the intent was there, so hunt the vermin down, and kill it.

Similar to the one at Greenwich didn't detonate and the week after 7/7 the explosive devices failed on some london buses. Reports from journalist on the Mail website suggest there is a second device being deactivated elsewhere. Nothing on the bbc so far though so not sure how correct

I should probably clarify that I'd have them tortured for 50 years, not locked up in a cushty prison where they can communicate with people.

That's pretty much what I thought. The detonators tend to be more reliable explosives than the home made explosives (the hydrogen peroxide combination used by most British Jyhadists isn't a very stable explosive and is prone to becoming inert quite quickly).

This is why Guantanamo Bay style prisons work. Keep all the psychopathic scum locked up together, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in isolation. Preferably with mattresses stuffed with bacon. Stops them influencing other weak minded prisoners.
